This lovely bowl is turned from big leaf maple which grows only in the Great Northwest and is not usually seen on the East Coast. The size of the bowl is good as a serving dish for salads and snacks at the dining table or for a party.. It is coated with 4 coats of food-safe finish for durability. Wooden or plastic serving utensils are strongly recommended. It is cleaned by hand washing in warm soapy water, rinsed and dried. It is not dishwasher safe, microwavable and should not be used for extended refrigerated storage.
