#1734 9 1/2" W X 3 1/2" Deep Hickory Bowl
This bowl is marked as “Walnut” but is actually hickory - I mistakenly identified the tree when I found it. Regardless, the grain in the piece is quite impressive and makes the bowl stand out. It is coated with four coats of food-safe finish and can be used as a serving dish at the dinner table or for snacks. Use of wooden serving utensils is strongly recommended. Clean up consists of hand washing in warm soapy water, rinse and drying. It is not microwavable, dishwasher safe and should not be used for extended refrigerated storage. It also does not require reoiling as with natural oil finishes.
